Art in Motion and Sun, Moon & Stars offer "Autism in Motion" -- an adaptive, social dance class for youth on the autism spectrum.

SCIENCE CENTER - CANCELED

Join Sun, Moon & Stars for a sensory-friendly day for children of all ages! Tickets are available on Eventbrite and are good for one year.  Sun., Nov. 3, 10am-5pm. Located at The Connecticut Science Center (250 Columbus Blvd Hartford CT 06708). $16.95 per person for general admission. $21.95 per person for general admission plus butterfly room or movie. Click box below for tickets.

STARFISH SWIM CLUB - KICKOFF WINTER SESSION 1

Group adaptive swim lessons for the children on the autism spectrum taught by specially-trained instructors. The Starfish Swim Club is open only to children with ASD age 3+. Saturdays, Nov. 23, 30 and Dec. 7, 14. Two session options: 2-2:45pm or 3-3:45pm. Located at Watertown High School pool (324 French Street, Watertown, CT) and facilitated by Watertown Recreation. $45 for the 4-week session. No prorating. Registration required. Limited openings. IMPORTANT: There is currently a WAIT LISTTo register, or for questions, send an e-mail to info@sunmoonandstars.org with "Swim" in the subject line AND the child's name, age and swim experience in the message. Do not contact Watertown Park & Rec until your child has been removed from the wait list.

BRICK THE HALLS: A BRICKS & MINIFIGS HOLIDAY EVENT

Children may create two ornaments with step-by-step instructions. SANTA EXPRESS - COACHES ADDED!

Autism families may enjoy an afternoon aboard a coach where the children can meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a judgement-free setting. This event sells out quickly every year so, this year, we have FOUR coaches for our families.

MUSIC - KICKOFF

Children and parents sing, dance, and play instruments during interactive group sessions, sharing special time with family while growing important social, motor, and communication skills. All sessions are led by board certified music therapists.
