Lisa Candera, The Autism Mom Coach, will also share her insights on "The Mother's Day Reset: Why taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do for your child with autism."

 

Our featured guest, Carrie Cariello, will dive into Autism, Marriage, and Motherhood -- and she'll leave time at the end for a live Q&A. Carrie along with fellow authors, has published a NY Times Best Selling book, "Autism Out Loud, Life with a Child on the Spectrum, from Diagnosis to Young Adulthood". Carrie Cariello: She is the author of What Color Is Monday: How Autism Changed One Family for the Better, Someone I’m With Has Autism, and Half My Sky: Autism, Marriage, and the Messiness That is Building a Family. Carrie is a contributor to the Huffington Post, TODAY Parents, the TODAY Show, Parents.com, Love What Matters, and Grown and Flown. She has been interviewed by NBC Nightly News and has given a TEDx talk. She speaks regularly about autism, marriage, and motherhood, and writes a weekly blog at www.carriecariello.com. Allison Demers: She has worked in all genres of broadcasting for over 30 years. You may have heard her on the “Allan, Mike and Allison” morning show on Lite 100.5 WRCH, and co-host of the “KC 101 Morning Show with Glenn Beck.” She is currently the midday on-air host at The River 105.9 WHCN, and on Sundays from 8-12 on “Acoustic Sunday.” She is the mother of two beautiful daughters and 1 grandson. Lisa Candera (aka The Autism Mom Coach): She is a full-time single mother of a teenage son with severe Autism and OCD, a lawyer, a certified life coach for moms raising kids with Autism, and host of The Autism Mom Coach podcast. Lisa is a regular contributor to The Autism Parenting Magazine and has been a featured panelist for the Autism Parenting Summit. In her 1:1 coaching program, Lisa teaches Autism Moms how to manage their stress and anxiety, so they can be the parent their child needs, without burning out.
